Presenter: Rick Mayo

Rick started his career with the hydronic heating industry in the state of Alaska as a plumber in the

spring of 1977. He transitioned to the wholesaler business approximately 4 years later and spent a

combined 21 years on his way up to Regional Heating Manager.

He left the wholesale business to pursue a training/technical support position with a large PEX tubing

manufacturer (Uponor-Wirsbo) and held that role for almost 7 years. Again another great opportunity

surfaced with an emerging heating technology company (Triangle Tube/ ACV) and Rick took a western

regional sales manager/corporate trainer’s role for just under 6 years.

He’s now been with Taco Comfort Solutions since the spring of 2015 as the Western Product and

Application Instructor. He covers a large territory that stretches across the 4 provinces in western

Canada as well as the western US, from Alaska to San Diego, back through Colorado including some

south-central states like Texas and Oklahoma.

Rick is an enthusiastic teacher with over 46 years in the industry. He combines his practical experience

and technical expertise to insure a productive, informative learning experience. Attendees can be

assured to receive a solid understanding of hydronic and plumbing applications along with how products

work within the plumbing and heating “System”.
